In partnership with the Council of Irish Fashion Designers (CIFD), Titanic Belfast invites you to enjoy a unique afternoon celebrating Irish fashion, creativity and craftsmanship.
Begin your experience with a welcome glass of Prosecco or elderflower fizz as live music welcomes you to the elegant Titanic Suite. Here you will have an opportunity to browse a number of luxury handbags, knitwear, leather goods and millinery from designers across the island of Ireland. Many of the pieces will also be available to purchase, offering the opportunity to discover and take home something truly special.
The highlight of the afternoon is a 40 minute panel discussion hosted by renowned fashion commentator and CIFD Chairperson Eddie Shanahan, featuring Amy Anderson of Kindred of Ireland, Sara O'Neill of Éadach, Sarah Murphy of Jack Murphy and Monica Walsh of Cobblers Lane.
Meet The Designers: Fashion Tea
Hear directly from the designers as they discuss the inspiration behind their collections, how they create timeless wardrobes, styling advice and the stories behind their work. Throughout the discussion, professional models will showcase three selected looks for each designer, bringing the collection to life, while guests will also have the opportunity to ask questions and join the conversation.
You'll also enjoy a special showcase of Niao Knitwear, one of the newest Northern Irish members of the Council of Irish Fashion Designers. Complimentary archive editions of Anthology magazine will also be available for guests to browse and maybe even take home. Following the discussion, relax and enjoy Titanic Belfast's renowned Afternoon Tea, served with live music in the beautiful surroundings of the Titanic Suite. Savour a selection of freshly prepared savouries, handcrafted sweet treats and freshly baked scones while soaking up the fashionable atmosphere.
