Departure Point | The Titanic Sign
On our Discovery Tour you’ll hear why and how the ship was built, what happened in its final hours and the tragic personal stories that are forever intertwined in the legend. You’ll learn about the hidden symbolism in our iconic building and find out fact and fable as you walk in the footsteps of the designers and shipbuilders who brought the dream to life, right here, back then.
You might think you’ve heard it all but until you’ve been on The Discovery Tour, you don’t know the half of it.
Discovery Tour Essentials
We’ve created a completely outdoor Discovery Tour to provide maximum reassurance for COVID-conscious visitors. Social distancing, hand sanitising and single-use headphones also add to the responsible safety of the experience. It means you can relax and completely immerse yourself in the incredible, rarely told Titanic story.
Tour Departure Times
Discovery Tour start times vary depending on the time of year. You can find the latest schedule here.
Dress for the outdoors
As the tour takes place completely outdoors, we recommend you dress appropriately for weather conditions on the day.
You won’t miss a word
Tour tickets include a roaming headset and single use earphones, so you won’t miss a single word from your tour guide, even when it’s windy.
Meet your guide at the Titanic sign in front of our building, 5-10 mins before your tour start time. Just like the ship, our guides depart promptly and all tickets for late/missed tours are non-refundable.
Cancellations and change of route
From time to time it’s necessary to cancel tours or alter the route due to inclement weather or unexpected operational reasons. In the unlikely event that a tour is cancelled, you will be entitled to a full refund.
