DISCOVER THE FLAVOURS OF AUTUMN AT TITANIC BELFAST

TITANIC Belfast is celebrating the season of autumn with a variety of family-fun to entertain visitors over the half-term holidays.

The Titanic Food and Craft Market will run this weekend, Saturday 24th 10am – 4pm and Sunday 25th October 12pm – 4pm on Hamilton Dock, showcasing local vendors for a chance to discover homemade pieces, tasty treats or a hot drink.

Additional free family fun will include a hay bale trail for young explorers from 24th – 31st October and chocolate apple decorating on SS Nomadic on 24th-25th October from 12pm-2pm and in the Grand Atrium on 30th-31st October.

Visitors will also be entertained throughout the week with live performances on the Sound Stage by local musicians.

There is even more to see, taste and discover with the return of Flavours of Titanic: A Journey Through Taste, Seasoned with Stories, a pop-up exhibition located on Level 1, that explores the food and the people behind the creations served onboard. Visitors can also test their senses at the new Smells of Titanic sensory station, featuring scents inspired by the ship and its story.

The autumnal celebration of local food and drink will continue each weekend until 15th November, shining a spotlight on local producers including Irish Black Butter, Maine Soft Drinks, White Water Brewery and Neary Nógs.

Visitors can explore the flavours, traditions and stories connected to Titanic through a programme of tastings, local makers and family experiences. Special offers will also be available each week in the Titanic Store, The Pantry and The Galley Café.

Hickson’s Point will have a special offer each Friday and has also joined this year’s Belfast Cocktail Week, running from 6th – 15th November, offering a signature ‘Shipyard Fix’ cocktail and ‘The Riveter’ mocktail created for the occasion.

On 11th November, Hickson’s Point will host a special ticketed whiskey and chocolate tasting evening, ‘From Cacao To Cask’ in partnership with McConnell’s Whisky and Neary Nógs. This guided tasting explores the flavours, craftmanship and processes behind locally made chocolate and Irish whisky, priced at £45pp.

Claire Bacon, Titanic Belfast’s Head of Marketing and Engagement said: “Food and craft has a wonderful way of bringing people together and telling stories, connecting us to the people, places and traditions that shape our heritage.

“With Flavours of Autumn, we're celebrating the wealth of talent among Northern Ireland's local producers while inviting visitors to explore Titanic's story in a different way, through taste, scent and hands-on experiences. From discovering local food and drink to enjoying our free family friendly activities over half-term, there's something for everyone to enjoy this autumn at Titanic Belfast.”
