From Saturday 7tth February 2026, Titanic Belfast invites visitors to celebrate Lunar New Year through colour, culture and storytelling. You’ll also have the chance to discover the stories of the eight Chinese men who sailed on RMS Titanic, offering a fascinating glimpse into a lesser-known part of the ship’s global story.
Head to Level 1 Apex to explore this free display and uncover the stories of Titanic’s Chinese passengers for yourself.
Lunar New Year marks a time of renewal, new beginnings and remembrance. Visit our Chinese Wishing Wall at the Porthole, where you can join others in writing a wish of hope for the future, for good fortune or in remembrance.
Enjoy Chinese-inspired dishes in The Pantry from 14th – 22nd February. Lucky Candy and traditional Chinse sweets will be available across our retail outlets and Visitor Services
Join us on Saturday 14th February where we’re joined by the Confucius Institute, showcasing the art of Chinese water sleeve dancing and you can see how you name translates in Mandarin.
On Saturday 14th & Sun 15th Feb and Sat 21st & Sun 22nd Feb from 11am-2pm you can also join us in getting creative with traditional drum-making, Bolang Gu, workshops.
